The MG Evo is also permitted, but the primary gearing must be 28/80. No alterations to other gearing.  Carbon fibre chassis and upper deck are not permitted.

Batteries:-
7.4v 2s LiPo (or 6 cell NiCad or NiMH). LiPo must be in a hard casing . Max nominal voltage rating to be 7.2v (NiCad or NiMH) and 7.4v for LiPo.
HV LiPo’s may be used, but only charged in accordance with current BRCA rules which allows the maximum voltage to be 8.4v ready to race. ANY battery which when checked shows more than 8.4v will not be allowed to race. Random checks will be made at the discretion of the Race Director using the Club’s volt meter.
The use of shorty battery packs is permitted providing they are secured safely in the car.
Any and all LiPo battery charging or discharging at Club meetings must take place with the LiPo pack contained within a LiPo sack or box. A LiPo sack is a fire-retardant container with a seal that is specifically designed for containing LiPo cells during charging and discharging.
Only commercially produced LiPo sacks or boxes are allowed for this purpose.
Any person found charging or discharging without a LiPo sack or box will not be permitted to race. Persistant offenders may be asked to leave.

Tyres:-
Any Mini tyre on a 42mm rim (no double inserts or foam tyres). Odourless additives are permitted, but anything containing wintergreen is forbidden.

Ride Height:-
All cars must maintain a ground clearance of 5mm. No screw or fitting should protrude below the bottom of the chassis.
Ground clearance is defined as follows: The Club’s 5mm gauge should be able to pass under the car from both front to rear and side to side when the car is standing in race ready condition without the car moving. Any movement of the car either laterally or vertically will be deemed a failure.

Permitted Bodyshells:-

Any production saloon or coupe body shell may be used. GT shells are not allowed. Shells should be mounted using the kit mounts only. Only wings supplied with the bodyshell can be used.
