Hello Paul.
I suggest Time Tunnel Models / Goldstar stockists. They are in the U.K and also carry everything spares wise you will need.
Once you have the kit then Ebay can be very useful as there are several shops on there selling parts.
The Hobbybox in Uckfield are also starting to stock a few items. The lads from Eastbourne should be able to give more info on what exactly.

yeah weve been chatting with the owner of the hobby box telling him to get stuff in lol. he has a couple of kits in stock a swift and a bmw mini. he had a load of s grips the other week and has ordered a load more sport tuned motors speedos.

i spoke with him at the weekend and he said the hobby co are not great at getting things out due to there stock levels but he is trying.

mention eastbourne and he should give you a discount

By the looks of the drivers, I think they're implying that the Fiat 500 model is for girls.

So for those people who feel all butch when they race their Mini there is also this bodyshell.
A rather handsome, flared arched little chappie :D

Just bought a mini. Short wheel base cooper model.

Bought from models in motion £79.97 delivered!

Advice welcome on

where to buy bearing (Shaun?)
what upgrades to do from day one
what cells will fit as I have demon liPo's
what tyres to use / what are in kit.

I'm not in a hurry, just getting ready for the outdoors summer season!

why not get on ebay, purchase a spare chassis £6 odd, and then see if you can dremel enough to get the lipo to fit.

there have been some at eecc managed to get large lipo to fit.

obviously the spare chassis isn't needed if you have a steady hand or are very confident it will fit...

THancock might be able to advise which lipos have been made to fit? I'm think alan morris car tim.?

I'm using the Yeah racing LiPo batteries. They are the same dimensions as a stick pack and fit perfectly.

Check out rc-mart in Hong Kong for the cheap deals on them.
