My XRAY mini is all up and running and ready for a test run at round 10.

Oh and i've got a new shell for my real car. I think only Timmy will be jealous of it.

Was a joint Rio and Jimbo effort, but i doubt either of us would like to admit it....ha ha

Is mini's an open class now?

I'll bring my TT01 mini down, also bought a xpress that I'd like to play with.

Happy days :D

Will any non Tamiya M chassis car runnning this Sunday (Round 10) in the Mini races be excluded from the results of the heats and final?

I for one certainly hope so.
OK, run them in a second heat but to have them in the same race shouldn't be done

Apart from spoiling a perfectly fair race; imagine the fuss if a modified Tourer made it's way into the 13.5's......

Why would they get points? They don't meet the rules so they never should get pionts. Also if it's going to cause any problems we'll just run them around in practice. Wouldn't want to upset any one. I do fear that people are taking the fun? beginner class a bit seriously.

Not at all.
I'm currently running 3 Mini's for the price of what I used to run 1 touring car and to be perfectly honest I enjoy the closeness of what is a very fair and equally matched class.

I guess you could say the equality is what make those taking part competitive.
Whether it's a car costing 100 or 350 pound we all compete in the same manner as each other and to the best of our abilities.

Racing value for money the Mini's win hands down for me and if it wasn't for their introduction I probably wouldn't be sitting here writing this.

Kian would never entertain the thought of racing a touring car; but give him a Mini and we have a different story plus for more new member.
Accept the class for what it is; an alternative to Touring cars and not neccessarily a beginners class, fun class, support class or what ever it's going to be called next, promote it a little bit, let it grow and hopefully we will see many more.
