Postby Brian Mills » Sat Mar 20, 2010 7:53 pm

Following the committee meeting, the classes for the Summer indoor season are as follows:-

1/10th Touring cars with 13.5 and 17.5 classes
Mini's
WGT's
We will also run 1/12 if there is enough interest.

There will also be another BIG MEET on a date yet to be decided.

Year i would like to see 1/12 included in the program as i have little chance to race my one. i have a few friends who have just purchased 1/12 so that would be a great opportunity for them to race them

Will WKRCC being running a 17.5 heat?

just an idea as 13.5 is no longer similiar to 27t, why not have a 17.5/27t heat and 13.5 & 10.5 on there own also would WKRCC consider this option for the fourth coming BIG MEET and 2010/2011 winter championship?

Cheers Paul

I don't see any reason to go back to 10.5, we would be risking spectator and marshal safety given the gains in speed now possible with the latest speed controllers and firmware upgrades.

Dan

We do plan to run 17.5 and 13.5 depending on what support we get. I personally think 17.5 will a great edition as it's better for us slower drivers.

For me i now at least 5 people who have 1/12 cars looking for some were to race them including my self. i think you should easily get 10 + drivers interested in racing
