Round 6

Postby Brian Mills » Sun Jul 18, 2010 8:36 pm

Good mornings racing today. Good to see so many mini's and WGT's plus a sprinkling of 1/12th's.
The club mini got another outing as well.
Plus some old geezer driving a yellow Ford Anglia. Perhaps we could have a "Classics" race (Anglia, Mini, Beetle, Escort Mk 1.......)

It was a good morning - Grant came up with a challenging track design again, which rewarded consistency.

Regards,

Dan

Mini fun, I think there were 11 drivers, after the final Ian bone asks me were I come, I didn’t know or care! Because had such a laugh. Big thank you to Shawn, he told me a few things to try and made a big difference with the s-grip tyres. Order some more blue bits for the car ;) , cheers Shawn. Brian you should have a go, I have a 66 turn motor you can use, so not too fast and a step ladder then we can get you on and off the platform  .
Come on Brian, have a nice Morris minor, right up your street :D .
Ben
The old geezer with yellow Ford Anglia :D

No problem Ben.
The more of them we can get running competitivly the better.
They are even more fun when you have a whole bunch of Mini's running nose to tail Nascar style :D

Hi again,
Just found a problem with the 13.5 A final and the Mini Final.
I have taken them off YouTube for now as the editing showed close up and not the full view. They will be back ---A Final in around 3-4 hours and Mini Final in around 6-8 hours.
Sorry chaps.
Andy.

Ben,
Thanks for the offer of the 66 turn but I may need to start slower and work up to that! I'll have to turn down the Moggy minor I'm afraid - I'm holding on for the Morris Traveller (the one with the bits of wood down the side) or perhaps even a Hillman Imp!!
