I'm guessing that entry for the carpet series will be the same as last year, if so, would it be worth giving him a list of all entries, regardless of membership status.

Yes, that is an option. It really depends on whether Martin is happy to give ALL our drivers that price or if he may want to restrict it to members. Hopefully he will be able to make it available to everyone. Shawn is probably best placed to answer this.

During our conversation I said we have between 60 and 80 entries per meeting and which point a couple of £ signs registered in front of his eyes.

There was no mention of any restriction at all. I should find out more tomorrow because Martin admitted himself he is no car expert and he was going to ask I an for his opinion.

... hence I don't see a problem with this deal coming off ;)

Apparently Ian didn't book early enough so the practice meeting will have to be moved either one week forward or backward.

the practise meeting will be the weekend before the first round.

the only other free date was three weeks previous to round 1 and the committee decided this would create too much of a gap until the first round.

this other date; 19th October however has been penciled in as a proposed date for a WKRCC, Eastbourne and possibly East Kent (Brookland) inter club championship round.
More on this later...

oh yeah.
As previously mentioned, this years championship will be supported by Schumacher Racing and therefore means we will be running to control tyre rules.
As long as the tyre itself is either Sorex 28 or 32 you will be legal.
This means rim choice is free but we recomend that you use the Schumacher pre-mounts; and these are available at either E.M Models in Tunbridge Wells or from Race Control on race day for the WKRCC preferential price of 20 pound per set.
We intend to have 20 sets of 28's and 10 sets of 32's available for purchase on the day but as we really don't know what the demand will be, those figures are currently at the educated guess stage due to the club buying the sets in advance from the shop.
As you can imagine buying 600 pounds worth of tyres is quite an outlay and we would like to see what the demand is before we go in too deep.

How about offering a reserve system for tyres purchased from race control?

I know it sounds selfish, but it would make life easier for a few of us who can't get to the model shop.

If you do, I'll have a set of 28s please. :D :D :D

Good idea Tim - we did discuss something along those lines last night at the committee meeting. We hope to add an option on the booking form to say if you want to reserve tyres (and which) so we can get a feel for how many we need.
