To answer Terry's question the committee decided that the open class would include 5 cell.

Yeah. I was considering installing the 10.5 I have had in the loft for the last 6 months, but assuming there may be a few with faster missiles than talent I will be sitting tight in 13.5.

Our general thinking behind dropping the 19t/10.5 class in favour of an open class was to A). Keep it in line with the summer rules to save confusion and B). Bit of a long shot but the Schumacher support "may" attract some "names"; and also may appeal to a wider spectrum of drivers.
Only time will tell with that one though.

Regarding who's soing what; My hunch is many of the regular club drivers who use 10.5 in the summer will drop to 13.5... :?:

Personally...
Mountain Biking, Off Roading (28th September@Leigh), Decorating ( :( ) , the odd meeting at Eastbourne and Brooklands plus loads of other stuff I never get to do when we are racing every fortnight.

Todays agenda is to update a website, strip n' hopefully rebuild 2 cars, walk the dog and possibly watch the GP from start to finish(for the first time this year); so as you can see I have plenty to keep me occupied :D

Before I know it 2nd November will be here and we'll back into the rigmorol off getting up at 6am on a Sunday to lay carpet out

No Mr Mills either seems to be less regulars and some new names

I was thinking the same thing the other day.
Some of us regulars may be in for a good ol fashion thrashion.
Dave doesn't tend to do the winter series. He don't perform to his best on carpet, and James.... well I've heard rumours he's back in training and will be re-appearing sometime under the name of Jim Hunt and what's more, driving a red Audi Quattro...
You ain't seen me right ?!

Not decided yet what to do for the winter. My new work load may decide it for me, but hopefully not :?
