Had a great day racing today, sham I might of got a speeding ticket on the way home though.
Some observations,
Thanks to all who helped put the track away today. it's what is needed at every meet.
The track is put down by the same people every meet and we don't mind that to be honest.
But it is really appreciated if you all help in putting it away.
Now, Dan you need to go directly to the Fire exit and get the shed open. This way the helpers can bring the track directly out to you and not pile it up at the Fire exit for us to move again. It makes sense really.
We then need helpers to clear the track working from the Rostrum over to the wall. We can then get the tape up off the first 3 rolls and get that rolling started.
What is still happening is the A Final drivers finish there finals and then seem to talk for ever about chrap basically and don't seem to do anything.
Now come on Chaps surly it's only far to get the track away and then you can talk. You raced on it so please do your bit.
I'm certainly not trying to rock the boat here but it's always seems it's the same racers putting the track down and then putting it away.
We also need to look at drivers ability and the Heats they are in. This is of course a though call to get right.
Now, as was discussed at the AGM today I will be the Touring class rep. But I don't always see the issues out there. So if you do have an issue that you feel needs to be put right, then please come and find me and have a chat and we will see if we can get it sorted.
All I want to see is safe, far and good close racing which we do at the club already, but we do miss things from time to time.
These are my observations of todays meet.
Anyway, as I said really enjoyed myself today.
And always remember "ENJOY THE DRIVE"
Andy.
