Looks as though ROAR are going to fixed timing motors and no boost for stock.

That being said ROAR say there Stock is 17.5 and Super Stock is 13.5.
We (as BRCA) still have't done that yet and is 13.5 Stock and 10.5 S/Stock.
When Ian and myself raced out in Canada I think we ran to ROAR rules and that was 17.5 Non Boosted for Stock and 13.5 Boosted for S/Stock
I'm sure i'll be corrected if I have got that wrong.
I think the STCC are trying 21.5 (not sure if it's Boosted or not) for beginners (well I think it's for beginners). Doesn't look like many have taken it up though, 13.5 is still the biggest class.
Cheers Andy.

Yes the BRCA are still using the same motors etc but it does seem as if the BRCA follows what the STCC does eventually. I only really mentioned it as it seems the States in general are moving away from boosted classes as they feel its what has caused the decline in racers. I'm not sure thats the reason there is a decline but they obviously recognise there is a problem.

We are trying the 21.5 at Eastbourne.

It seems to be more driveable for those of us blessed with apposing thumbs. Mine are apposed to the way i want the car to turn!

I must admit this approach is starting to appeal to me. I'm being left behind in terms of horse power as I don't have an updateable speedo and I don't intend replacing my speedo every 6 months.
