Thanks for that Terry.
Chris, the GT will be on it's way. It takes about 3 hours to upload to YouTube, but it will be there by this afternoon.
Not the best of finals for me, but hay, that's Toy Car Racing.
The issue I have with Sundays race was the disappointing number of TOP DRIVERS not doing there bit putting the track away.
If we waited for the drivers to turn up to put the track down, racing would not start till 10.00 with no practice.
There will come a time when racers will turn up and no track down, you'll only get 2 Rounds and a Final and then the track will be taken up as we have to be out of the hall by 13.00. NO ONE AT THE CLUB WANT'S THAT.
It's the same people that put the track down seem to be the ones staying behind to clear it away.
Now I'm not having a go at you racers who stay behind with us to help. THANK YOU ALL.
It's the ones who want the best possible racing (which West Kent gives you) but can't be bothered to help at the end or at all.
It's the same at a lot of clubs and can become a massive problem. The same faces doing all the work.
PLEASE TOP DRIVERS just do your bit, helping with the tape and the track, then put your gear away, that's all I'm asking..........is that to much to ask?
On a positive note, it was nice to see some helping out with extra marshalling, Thank you.
Don't forget, if you drive in 2 or more races then it is YOUR job to find a marshall whilst you drive NOT race control.
The West Kent RC Car Club want's to give racers the best possible experience when they come to Tonbridge and that's the aim. We need to keep moving forward, but we need the support of ALL RACERS.
