Building a M05

Hi,
Having not sold my s spec mini,ive decided to build it and have a go racing it at ,the big meet' :D ...i used to race at the club a long while back..but got into racing 1/5th rc bikes which i still do........so,any tips on building the m05..or is it just put it together and race!..

cool might be worth getting hold of some sweep slicks for the brushless

I'd also suggest packing the diff out with some thicker grease. If you build it as per the instructions it's pretty loose and doesn't offer a lot of traction, especially with brushless. Something a bit thicker in it would help in my experience.

What grease do you use Dave.
I've only ever found too much of anything just makes it's way out of the diff leaving a large mess.

i saw somewhere online a guy who had sealed the difff using silicon sealer or something?

I confess I've actually replaced it with an oil filled diff. I originally built the kit one with the kit grease and it was far too loose so I was going to find something a bit thicker to use but then found out about the oil filled one which seemed a better idea.

where did you get the oil filled diff?..................the TA03 diffs seem to be popular.....
