We've got a committee meeting tomorrow night Keith, so hopefully we can discuss it then.

Keith

Do you think there would be enough support to run the additional class?

I'm not against it but most people are settled on 10.5 but I understand your reason to ask as they now run that at Nationals.

Maybe we could discuss it.

West Kent attracts a good 12thscale following now and I think adding a 13.5 chanpionship would be worth a try the cars could compete agaist 10.5 so there is no need for a separate heat unless numbers allowed I think.
It provides a way of opening it up to attract more racers without necessarily having to run another heat as you would do if you went to running SupaStox.

and on that subject as you are having a committee meeting what about running SupaStox ???

I don't think you can put the 13.5 and 10.5 cars in the same heat. The approach speed and acceleration differences will be too great and lead to the inevitable crashes. Once a 12th car is committed to a line through a corner, you can't hit the brakes to take avoiding action without creating more problems.

Even if you put the 13.5s in with the lesser skilled 10.5 drivers, frustration will occur as the good 13.5 drivers get taken out by mistakes made by the faster cars.
