Confirmation of rules and classes please

Hi,

I normally race at Horsham RC, 1/10tc and supastox,

Firstly a few of the club members are thinking about coming over on the 12th and we would like to run our supastox's, will you be able to accommodate us ?

Also I'd like to run my TC as well but the web site rules says 'any slick tyre', Will It be okay to run foams? As I don't really want to go out and buy rubbers.

Foams are a kind of slick tyre, so I'm assuming the any slick tyre rule is to stop people using mini pins which destroys prima felt.

Thanks in advance

Hi

We should be able to fit the superstox in with the minis which is what we normally do. However we can get really busy with the minis and we have a limit to the number of heats we can run due to time but we havent had to turn anyone away yet!

As for touring cars its rubber tyres only I'm afraid. The guys who run tourers run either 17.5 blinky or 13.5 boosted.

If you are definitely coming I could loan you some rubber tyres/wheels but they may not be the current favourites as I havent run a tourer for a while.

Let me know if you need them
Tim

PS let race control know you're intensions when you arrive.

I might be able to get hold of some rubbers, what rubbers do you guys run and do you bother with tyre Warner's.

Also if I ran 13.5 (in blinky mode ) what group would I be placed in?

We normally run Sorex 28JB tyres at West Kent, these ones http://shop.cpdracing.co.uk/index.php?m ... ucts_id=61 and for tyre additive we use Spider Grip Green from Zen-Racing but you can also get it here as well http://shop.cpdracing.co.uk/index.php?m ... ts_id=1048

Tyre warmers certainly help, but are not essential, it will take you a couple of laps for the tyres to get up to temp and then you good to go. The grip level at West Kent is probably about the best you will find on carpet anywhere.....great fun :)

Thanks for the reply, I will stick to SXT 3.0.

I think I have some RP30's

Haven't used turbo for about 2 years now as we banned it at our club, to fast for our small track.

Can anyone suggest a starter 10 for the hobbywing extreme stock.
