Yes, I'd second that - thanks for your help guys.

On a different subject - did you leave anything behind today?
I have a couple of things that need to be re-united with their owners.
Let me know if you're missing something!

A nice flowing track today I thought - nice one Grant :)

Mini's were fun to watch, but I wish my batteries hadn't been naff so that I could join in! Must say that there was some close racing in the B Final - had a great battle with Rhys for third place. Most fun I've had in a long time :D

Regards,

Dan

thanks for keeping Rhys occupied for me Dan. It gave me a chance to get away;
especially after he had the nerve to out qualify me :)

The Mini's are great to watch and even better to drive. Hopefully I have now got to the bottom of my Servo saver issues. Next week the car might actually track in a straight line...

Oh come on - surely somebody must have realised by now that when they got home they hadn't got the pit table with them that they went out with yesterday morning!!!!

The practice was much needed for us Hastings lads. Mick, Jamie and I brought 12 batteries along, and 7 died! Should buy some shares in Modelsport.co.uk as they're enjoying my return to racing as much as me I think. It's great to see the club strong. Some of the kit people wheel out - computer chargers, discharge trays, tyre warming systems etc are pretty amazing. The sport has turned to science and the science has won I think! I've not raced for almost two years, and plenty has moved on technology-wise. I hope to be reasonably competitive running a brushed motor, my main struggle Sunday was getting enough heat in the tyres. I think I was the only one to manage to donut off the start line, and that was feeding the power in carefully! Thanks everyone for a friendly return to a sport I get a big kick out of :D
