day out

hi everyone i am new on this wb site so may i say happy christmas to everyone and a happy new year i have never done model racing before and want to get into it i have got a car but never used it so would like a day out to try it out if not will sell it do i have to become a member of this club or can i just turn up on the day or do you have training days would love any advise to help me get on my way may thanks vince

Hi Vince, Welcome to the site. No you don't need to be a member of the club, you can just come along and race as a visitor. The drivers who belong to this forum will be happy to give advice to you, but can you tell us what car you have and what else in the way of batteries etc and what area you are from?

hi my car is yokomo mr 4tc sd 1/10 scale battries are gp nimh 3300 sorry not sure as i no little about this also have loads or other stuf as well just dont know what it is all for cheers vince

The Yokomo will be fine for racing just get yourself along and we will get your sorted.
Bring all your stuff and try to have a couple of battery packs charged.

Winter Round 4 04 January 2009
Winter Round 5 18 January 2009
Winter Round 6 01 February 2009
Winter Round 7 15 February 2009
Winter Round 8 01 March 2009
Winter Round 9 15 March 2009
Winter Round 10 29 March 2009

Racing starts at 09.30 but the gates open at 07.00 to allow the track to be built so you can arrive any time from then on.
