Hi.
Other than the need to use the Silvercan I see you have we do have rather expensive carpet and therefore please don't have any sharp edges around the chassis or bodywork.
Also the screws in the bottom of the chassis need to be countersunk and sit flush if they are not already.

Shawn has made a very valid point there. When Dave Penfold and Steve Davis visited before Christmas they were possibly the first Mardave's to run on our carpet and did bring the cars to race control to show us how they had obviously taken time and trouble to countersink all the screws in the bottom of the chassis. This is VERY important in order to keep the carpet in as good a condition as possible so we will need to inspect cars quickly to check.

Countersunk chassis' are available from Mardave for about £8 not even worth getting thr drill out for :D

ahhhh gearing wise i havent a clue as im now runnin with a diff and on 48dp and cant even remember wot i ran when i was there! sorry!

I'm fully countersunk (mardave chasssis) but will bring the car over before i go onto the track.

Also minimum 5mm ride height.

Thanks for that Dan, normally run at 3mm so i'll put an off road suspension kit on it!

pretty well to be honest lets the acceleration be slightly less aggresive and certainly is better along the maritime ripples on there straight! hmmmm do i run it tomorrow tho! mardave chassis will have to go on! hmmmm decisions decisions!
