Bodyshell needed M03 M

Postby Simond001 » Fri Mar 27, 2009 12:04 pm

If anyone has an old bodyshell it would be much appreciated.

I have ordered a couple of swift shells but they are on back order 4-6 weeks apparently.

(are there any other shells that fit ie non tamiya?)

ABC hobby do a lovley line in shells, not sure that they are available in this country though and look too nice to race

HPI did a few for there mini RS4 but according to the website have all been discontinued (civic and mini anyway)

kamtec do a bmw mini (how on earth have bmw been able to call that a mini AHHHHHHHH)

and of corse some of the mardave shells can sort of fit

believe the abc hobby site is www.abchobby.com

would be interested to know of others though as i like to use the PROPER MINI (not that rubbish bmw rip off) and the tamiya ones are more delicate than others

theres a lightweight swift shell I stumbled across and of which I have two.
You can't have either of them but they were readily available from Hong Kong last week. The part number is 49420

HOWEVER....
Did you realise there is a part number for just the bodyshell (without stickers)? I certainly didn't :o

It's Tamiya Part Number 1825416 @ £13.50
Hell of a lot cheaper and this piece of new comes from our friends on the Eastbourne forum :D

I have already spoken to Hobbybox and he has ordered some of the bare shells for us. They are on back order so 4 to 6 weeks.

I have also ordered them from Models in motion as they were showing stock, but their stock control system isnt real!

Be good if Kamtec could make up some similar shells for us.

Ian,

I think that these are all for the swb M03

I need a 220mm wheelbase shell. These are all 208

I can donate my old Civic shell if you are really stuck. It's past it's best and needs some TLC.
