Hi Guys,
I've booked in for this weekend's round of world GT. Anything I should know other than control tyres (lilacs) and 1S/4cell with 10.5 ? Do you run a control additive or anything like that ?

Also, what sort of rollout are people running ?

Cheers
Chris

Nothing out of the ordinary Chris. Just beware of the ride height as some were touching carpet at the first round.

Any additive just needs to be in a spill proof bottle, with sponge applicator.

Otherwise that's it and see you Sunday.

spill proof with a sponge applicator ?

like the lrp/nosram/jack variants ?

Does that mean I can't use the same additive I use for 12th.. i.e. CS High Grip or Speedtech ? they come in a tin that I brush on..

How about if I promise not to spill any ? ;) ;)

The Nosram/LRP type bottle with the sponge on top are the ones ;)
I think some people are putting the brush on in a tin varients into these bottles if it helps.

It needs to be odourless as well. We can't have Brian getting too high on a Sunday morning; otherwise he won't be able to have his afternoon nap when he gets home.

Hi Chris, just to confirm what Shawn has already said - tyre additive is only allowed if it is in a container with an applicator. Tins with a brush are specifically banned.

ok, just to confirm then.. I can use any additive as long as it's in the right container ?

Just that Lrp/Nosram don't really work on foam tyres I find, so I want to use CS or Speedtech, which do.

Hi Chris

As most have said its the usuall rules 10.5 and 1s etc. Yes lilacs are the control tyre and as for additive put it on outside if thats what you have and then there won't be any issues as I know CS only comes in a brush on can. The idea is mainly to stop it damaging the hall floor.
Roll out I ended up last time on 70 but others using Tekins etc are lower
