Summer 2008 Round 1

Postby Dan Hamblin » Sun Apr 27, 2008 4:43 pm

Some fantastic, close racing today, probably due to the dust on the tennis courts from all the recent rain :D

Really looking forward to the next meeting now!

Regards,

Dan

Yep absolutely. Really enjoyed today, very close between you and me Dan, especially the last quali and the final. I'll have to try a bit harder next time :D . And talk about lucky with the weather. If that rain had arrived half hour earlier we would have been scuppered.

Roll on round 2.
Roads ?.... Where we're going we don't need....roads. Carpet might be handy though. To the A Final and beyond !!!.........

Yes we were very lucky with the weather.
I just wish I had found some grip before heat 3 :(

Had a look at the times and if only I had the grip I had for the final all day. My final time was good enough for second overall :(

Mind you, we did have a very scruffy 1st lap in the A - Tim made up over 3 seconds alone in comparison.

I was struggling pretty badly for traction during the final, the sun went in, the temperature dropped and my decision to put on CS-27's was a little bit mis-guided!

Regards,

Dan

Dan I ran Sorex 28s all day not sure they were the best to run either they took ages to warm up plus when they did the grained real bad. Probably half my fault as my setup was pants.
