Round 5

Postby Brian Mills » Sat Jun 14, 2008 6:18 pm

Ian has sorted out the "senior moment" that caused a problem with the trophies at the last meeting.
I'm assured that they are ready and will be presented at round 5.

I had a call from Louis (the Caretaker) yesterday. He warned me that the caravan club are using the school this weekend. That won't be a problem to us at all, it's just that if it's very wet they will have to park on the playground instead of on the grass. If this is the case Louis has said he will leave room for us where we usally park and pit. I'm guessing we may be able to leave our cars on the playground just for tomorrow.

Hi Ben, I'm told the hall is free if we need it.

Judging by the latest forecast we should be good to race outside, although the track will be damp to start with.

Dan

Good days racing today I think. Some good close racing and good to see a few visitors from Sidcup and Eastbourne.
