Ah, I see what you mean now.

If you want to race in the Mini's you'll need a Tamiya M-Chassis car, typically M-05 or M-03. The club car is an M-03 and seems to go well. You're welcome to come and give that a try next time.

yeah i have managed to find the m-05 for £90 so quite pleased about that

gonna sell the tt-01 and my old tl-01 to bring costs down haha

would i be allowed to use my lrp runner esc with the standard motor in the m-05?

if not i will hold on to the tamiya esc i received with tt-01 and use that

Sounds like a very good price to me. It's also well worth getting a pack of ballraces to fit from the start to make the transmission smoother.

Using your LRP Runner with the standard motor will be fine.

i opted for a set of ballraces to come with it for an additional £9

not sure on their quality but definitely better then the standard bushings

have you done much internally or is it stock? shims etc?

I did the same for £9. Looks like they've cut 20 quid off the kit I bought!

It's entirely kit standard internally.
