Track for round 4

Postby crazybrit123 » Sat Nov 23, 2013 5:54 pm

Hi west kent team,
Is it at all possible to have a nice flowing track for the Touring cars for Round 4 please.
There's not to much going on that weekend for tourers (other than Rug Racers which is Fully booked).
So it might be that a few more will attend if they know a fast touring car track might be on the cards.
Please, please, Grant make it a touring car track.

Will all the touring drivers be at rug racers though?

No 12th national this weekend, so there will probably be two heats of 12th again.

Well I asked and you delivered.
Great, Great track today. All the racers I asked agreed and that was a lot.
From Touring to Mini and 12th.
If I had one comment though, the Finals grid was a bit tight. With that size of track we could of had more between 1st, 2nd, 3rd etc.......even if that means going nearer to the first corner or pushing round the last one on to the straight.
Oh, one other thing, I know we were running late due to lots and lots of racers (good init) but let's get the finals grid sorted before we have to start racing.

Did I say great track.

I have to agree with everything Andy has said, the track was a joy to drive......for everyone! Another great track Grant, well done.

Also the grid for the TC A Final, again, agree with Andy, I don't know who, but someone lined up out of position which led to major confusion and as a result, we weren't ready to start, but we started anyway and because we were so close, it resulted in chaos, settled down in the end but it would be much better if the grid was better spaced.

Great day all the same, and another great meeting from the West Kent Team, thank you guys :)

Hi

Good track, only found wkrcc recently and have been to the last 3 meetings. I bought an M05 off ebay a few months back having found Eastbourne where I've been racing since then. Carpet is a new challenge, got to stop hitting things heh. Struggling a bit in F1 as I only have a cheapo Saturn motor and the standard diff but its fun racing against some of the brushless cars. Mine is now in component form so I can clean it up before the next meeting :)

A bit more practise time would be good with the different courses but bit tricky due to number of people. I had no idea racing was this popular :)

cheers, Darren (Russell)
