Winter rules

Postby taxman » Mon Nov 17, 2014 4:22 pm

Hi
Just noticed the winter rules seemed to have some slight changes from summer.
• 1/12th
1s 3.7V LiPo
10.5 brushless with "Blinky" speedos as per BRCA
3.5mm minimum ride height
Am I correct in thinking that the 3.5 mil ride height would also applicable to GT12 instead of the old 4 mil rule, and as GT12 now has its own heat could the GT12 rules be placed on the club homepage?

Many Thanks
Tony

Hi Tony,

I thought we had published GT12 rules, although it may well have been posted here rather than added to the web-site.
I'll see if I can find them.

Tony,

They are repeated below but were originally posted by Tim back in June.

Regards
Brian

---------------------------------------------------------------

Here are some basic rules for running a GT12

1s 3.7v cell
13.5t with blinky speedo
Max width 165mm
All bodies must be a realistic GT type
Minimum ride height 4mm
All other normal club rules apply for additives etc

These are very basic rules so if you are unsure about anything please ask

So is it definitely 4mm for GT12 at West Kent or 3.5 like with the 1/12th's?

The minimum weight is 950g for BRCA events as well which I have built mine to (bit over), not sure what the limit is at WK?

cheers
