Sevenoaks Endurance Meeting

Sevenoaks Club are holding their 2nd annual endurance meeting on Sunday 5th October. It will be run outside on tarmac(weather permitting) or inside on a polished wood floor and will last for 2.5 hours. It would be good if West Kent were to field a team to defend the title we won last year. Contact me at brian@wkrcc.co.uk to take part.

BRCA 1:10 Off-Road Regionals - 4th and 18th May 2008

Summer Championship 2008

The rules are now available on the website. There will be 3 motor classes available:

* Stock - 27 turn brushed motor (bearings permitted)
* Stock ? 13.5 (or slower) brushless (bonded or sintered)
* Open - Any other brushed or brushless motor

LiPos permitted for the Winter 2007/08 Championship

LiPo batteries will be allowed for the Winter 2007/08 series provided the following conditions are met:

They are of the type that are enclosed in a hard case
Used with a suitable cut off device and charger
Charged in either a metal container or a LiPo sack

Brushless motors are in from the Winter 2007/08 Championship

Starting with the Winter 2007/08 Carpet Series brushless motors will be permitted.

They will run alongside the brushed equivalents but will be seperated into different championships. In the stock class the lowest turn motor permitted is 13.5. In the super-stock class brushless motors must be 10.5.
